Ending Your Session
Click on the "Logout" button on the menu to the left of the screen when you are finished. Then, close that window. Otherwise, you will get a message that you are already logged in if you try to logon again after your original session.
Search Description
Use this form to obtain
detailed information about a specific company. Simply fill
in the information you know and click SEARCH. The system will
then display a list of those firms that match your search
criteria. You may then browse through those listings or modify
your search and resubmit it.
General Search Tips
- All field entries are optional. You may want to start
your search by entering just a single field (e.g. Company).
The greater the number of fields you enter, the more likely
some detail is incorrect and the search may fail. If too
many listings are retrieved, try using more specific information
in the fields to refine your search.
- You may use several search categories at the same time.
- Search terms are not case sensitive.
- Apostrophes (') and quotation marks (") cannot be used in search criteria
fields.
Field Descriptions
Company
Enter the name of the firm you wish to locate. You do
NOT need to enter the full name of the firm; however, you
should enter in enough information to get a reasonably unique
response (Example: Either "Tower" or "Group" for "Tower
Group International, Inc.")
SCAC
Enter the Standard Carrier Alpha Code (SCAC) for the firm
you are looking for.
Location
Locate firms by selecting any combination of State/Province,
City & Zip. If you select "(any)" in the "State/Province"
field, all U.S. states, Canadian Provinces & Mexico will
be selected.
Classification
To search for firms by classification, select among and
up to six different types: TL, LTL, Interstate, Intrastate,
Common Carrier & Contract Carrier.
Category
To search for firms by category select among the five general
choices given or search for other options by typing them
into the "Other" Field.
Origin/Destination
To locate a firm by origin/destination point service, first select the
country of service in the Office/Terminal Location field. For example:
Select "Canada" if you are searching for companies with service
within Canada. Then enter the origin and destination information by
state/province, city, or zip/postal code (or any combination of the three).
Type of Trailer
Enter in the type of trailer you are interested in (e.g.
flatbed, reefer, etc.). Use up to three fields to select
more than one entry. Use the and/or selector to specify
if you need a firm to have all three or any of the entries
entered.
Total Number of Power Units
Choose among the three selections: 1-250; 252-500 or Over
500
Number of Employees
Choose among the three selections: 1-250; 252-500 or Over
500
Number of Rows Per Page
Select the number of firm profiles you want displayed on
the search results page.
